Different religions have different ways of Baptism. Islam, Judaism and Christianity are three religions that each have a different ways of Baptism.
Let's start with Christianity. In Christianity, Baptism means washing away all you sins and welcoming you into the Christian Church. Water and oil are two main symbols that are used in Baptism. Water symbolizes washing away and cleaning our hearts, and oil symbolizes blessing and welcoming into the church. The main meaning of Baptism in Christianity is to be welcomed.
In the Jewish religion, circumcision is their way of Baptism. For Jews, circumcision marks the entry into the Jewish community and and symbolizes the ties between God and Abraham and between God and the Jews. This command is compulsory for Jews. Just like in Christianity, this is a welcoming into the community.
In Islam there is no baptism rituals. Islamic people believe that their religion is the Baptism of Allah, and no-one is a better baptizer than Allah. They say that because they worship Allah, they don't need to be baptized.
In Christian faith, the 'Trinity' is 3 divine persons in one. These being: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
